Aroania

Aroania (Template:Langx) (also known as "Sopoto") is a village and a former municipality in Achaea, West Greece, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform, it is part of the municipality Kalavryta, of which it is a municipal unit.<ref name=Kallikratis>{{#invoke:citation/CS1|citation |CitationClass=web }}</ref> The municipal unit has an area of 173.804 km2.<ref name=stat01>{{#invoke:citation/CS1|citation |CitationClass=web }}</ref> The seat of administration was in the town of Psofida. The municipality is named after the village and the mountain.
