Breach (Major Tim Zanetti) is a fictional superhero published by DC Comics. He first appeared in Breach #1 (March 2005), and was created by Bob Harras and Marcos Martin.

Fictional character biographyEdit
Tim Zanetti is a US Army Major who works for "Project Otherside", a secret Arctic nuclear reactor that can access other dimensions. After an accident imbues him with interdimensional energy, he is rendered comatose for 20 years and given a containment suit.
After being awakened, Zanetti discovers that his former wife Helen has married his former colleague Mac McClellan. MacClellan falsely claims that Zanetti's family was killed in the accident that created him and makes him battle the interdimensional Rifters.<ref>Infinite Crisis #5 (April 2006)</ref><ref>Infinite Crisis #7 (June 2006)</ref>

Powers and abilitiesEdit
Similar to Captain Atom, Breach possesses vast superhuman physical abilities, and can fly and transmute elements. He can also "melt" biological substances with a touch.Template:Citation needed
