}}Template:Main other Jaboticabal is a municipality in the state of São Paulo in Brazil. The population is 77,652 (2020 est.) in an area of 707 km².<ref>Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estatística</ref> The town takes its name from the jabuticaba tree. The municipality is formed by the headquarters and the districts of Córrego Rico and Lusitânia.<ref>{{#invoke:citation/CS1|citation |CitationClass=web }}</ref>

Jaboticabal is home to the UNESP university campus, and is also the city that produces the most peanuts in Brazil. Around the city are extensive sugar cane plantations and industries making Jaboticabal one of the most important cities in agrobusiness around its region.

Economy

The municipality is located in one of the richest regions in São Paulo State, SE Brasil, responsible for approximately 8.5% of its gross domestic product (GDP).

Media

In telecommunications, the city was served by Companhia Telefônica Brasileira until 1973, when it began to be served by Telecomunicações de São Paulo.<ref>{{#invoke:citation/CS1|citation |CitationClass=web }}</ref> In July 1998, this company was acquired by Telefónica, which adopted the Vivo brand in 2012.<ref name=":vivo" />

The company is currently an operator of cell phones, fixed lines, internet (fiber optics/4G) and television (satellite and cable).<ref name=":vivo">{{#invoke:citation/CS1|citation |CitationClass=web }}</ref>

Protestant Church

The most diverse evangelical beliefs are present in the city, mainly Pentecostal, including the Assemblies of God in Brazil (the largest evangelical church in the country),<ref>{{#invoke:citation/CS1|citation |CitationClass=web }}</ref><ref>{{#invoke:citation/CS1|citation |CitationClass=web }}</ref> Christian Congregation in Brazil,<ref>{{#invoke:citation/CS1|citation |CitationClass=web }}</ref> among others.
