Oiron ({{#invoke:IPA|main}}) is a former commune in the Deux-Sèvres department in western France. In January 1973 it absorbed the former communes Bilazais, Brie and Noizé.<ref>Modifications aux circonscriptions administratives territoriales (fusion de communes), Journal officiel de la République française n° 0009, 11 January 1973, p. 502.</ref> On 1 January 2019, it was merged into the new commune Plaine-et-Vallées.<ref>Arrêté préfectoral 7 November 2018 Template:In lang</ref>

The Château d'Oiron is located there.
