Persian melons (Persian: خربزه) are cultivars of Cucumis melo, a type of melon.<ref name=VA>Template:Cite book</ref> They are elongate, unridged, with dark green skin with irregular yellowish bands,<ref name=VA/> and flesh of a deep green colour.<ref name="vos">Template:Cite book</ref>
