Early life and careerEdit

Rika Fukami was born on August 8, 1963,<ref>Template:Cite news</ref> in Kyoto Prefecture,<ref>Template:Cite tweet</ref> and she was raised in Chichibu, Saitama,<ref name="official-profile">{{#invoke:citation/CS1|citation |CitationClass=web }}</ref> where she was a member of the chorus club in elementary school.<ref name="声優ハートフルトーク21">Template:Cite book</ref> She was originally self-conscious and quiet during her childhood, but in high school she was inspired by how spirited the older students were, so she joined the broadcasting club and subsequently won the top prize at a prefectural tournament of the Template:Ill and participated in the national tournament for two consecutive years.Template:R<ref>{{#invoke:citation/CS1|citation |CitationClass=web }}</ref>
