It consists of a very long straight wooden [[natural horn]], with a length of {{convert|3|to|4|m|ft|sigfig=2|abbr=off}}, a [[bore (wind instruments)|conical bore]] and a wooden cup-shaped [[mouthpiece (brass)|mouthpiece]].
