The '''American Debate Association''' began in 1985 as an intercollegiate [[debate]] association. It uses the [[Resolution (policy debate)|resolution]] selected by the [[Cross Examination Debate Association]] and the [[National Debate Tournament]]. Currently they have 40 member schools.
