Fraser played in forty-six [[Test cricket|Test matches]] and forty-two [[One Day Internationals]] for [[England cricket team|England]]. Cricket commentator Colin Bateman commented that Fraser was "a reliable, intelligent and hard-working bowler".<ref name="Cap"/>
