This plexus extends from the [[spinal cord]], through the [[cervicoaxillary canal]] in the neck, over the first rib, and into the [[axilla|armpit]], it supplies [[Afferent nerve fiber|afferent]] and [[efferent nerve fiber]]s to the [[chest]], [[shoulder]], [[arm]], [[forearm]], and [[hand]].
