Cable modems are primarily used to deliver [[broadband Internet access]] in the form of [[cable Internet]], taking advantage of the high [[Bandwidth (signal processing)|bandwidth]] of a HFC and RFoG network. They are commonly deployed in the [[Americas]], [[Asia]], [[Australia]], and [[Europe]].
