On 1 January 2018 the municipality, which covers {{convert|113.69|km2|2|abbr=on}}, had 5,175 inhabitants, giving a [[population density]] of 46 inhabitants per km<sup>2</sup>.

The municipality consists of the following [[deelgemeente|districts]]: Chiny, [[Izel, Wallonia|Izel]], [[Jamoigne]], [[Les Bulles]], Suxy, and [[Termes, Wallonia|Termes]].
