Farson was a prolific [[biographer]] and autobiographer, chronicling the [[Bohemianism|bohemian]] life of [[Soho]] and his own experiences of running a [[music-hall]] [[pub]] on east London's [[Isle of Dogs]]. His memoirs were titled ''Never a Normal Man''.
