Bonaduce is the son of veteran TV writer and producer Joseph Bonaduce (''[[The Dick Van Dyke Show]]'', ''[[That Girl]]'', ''[[One Day at a Time (1975 TV series)|One Day at a Time]]'' and others). Bonaduce became famous as a child actor of the 1970s on the TV sitcom ''[[The Partridge Family]]''.
