Considered to be one of the greatest cornerbacks and fastest players in NFL history, he played [[college football]] for the [[Texas A&M–Kingsville Javelinas football|Texas A&M–Kingsville Javelinas]] and was drafted by the Redskins with the last pick in the first round of the [[1983 NFL draft]].
