The protagonists in these stories are teens or pre-teens who find themselves in frightening circumstances, often involving the supernatural, the paranormal or the occult. Between 1992 and 1997, sixty-two books were published under the ''[[Goosebumps (original series)|Goosebumps]]'' umbrella title.  R. L.
