'''Immingham''' is a town and [[civil parish]] in [[North East Lincolnshire]], England, on the south-west bank of the [[Humber|Humber Estuary]], {{convert|6|mi|km|0|abbr=off|spell=on}} northwest of [[Grimsby]].

It was relatively unpopulated until the early 1900s, when the [[Great Central Railway]] began developing [[Immingham Dock]]; as a consequence of the docks, and post-Second World War large scale industrial developments, Immingham became a significant town during the 20th&nbsp;century.
