He played college football for [[Georgia Bulldogs football|Georgia]], and was selected by the Dolphins in the seventh round of the [[1970 NFL draft]]. Scott went to the [[Pro Bowl]] five consecutive times between [[1971 Pro Bowl|1971]] and [[1975 Pro Bowl|1975]]. He recorded 35 [[interception]]s in his six seasons as a Dolphin, and another 14 in his three years with the Redskins. To this day, he remains the Miami Dolphins all-time leader in interceptions with 35.
