'''Jay and Silent Bob''' are fictional characters portrayed by American actors [[Jason Mewes]] and [[Kevin Smith]], respectively. They appear in the [[View Askewniverse]], a [[fictional universe]] used in most of the films, comics, and television programs written and produced by Smith.

Jay and Silent Bob are the only characters that have appeared in every Askewniverse film. This excludes Smith's other projects: ''[[Jersey Girl (2004 film)|Jersey Girl]]'', ''[[Zack and Miri Make a Porno]]'', ''[[Cop Out (2010 film)|Cop Out]]'', ''[[Red State (2011 film)|Red State]]'', ''[[Tusk (2014 film)|Tusk]]'', and ''[[Yoga Hosers]]''.
