He was a left-handed [[batsman]], [[left-arm orthodox spin]] [[bowling (cricket)|bowler]] and [[Fielding (cricket)|fielder]], especially in the [[slip (cricket)|gully]] position. He was also an occasional [[wicketkeeper]] when required.
