Member institutions are located in the [[West South Central states|South Central states]], with schools in [[Texas]], [[Oklahoma]], and [[New Mexico]], with two members in the [[Pacific Northwest]] states of [[Oregon]] and [[Washington (state)|Washington]] competing as affiliates for football only.
