A '''multihull''' is a [[boat]] or [[ship]] with more than one [[Hull (watercraft)|hull]], whereas a vessel with a single hull is  a [[monohull]]. The most common multihulls are [[catamaran]]s (with two hulls), and [[trimaran]]s (with three hulls).
