It is broadcast on [[V (TV network)|V]], following a decade during which it was broadcast on [[TVA (Canadian TV network)|TVA]]. As of 2023, the hosts of the show are former contestant Frédéric Robichaud and partner, singer [[Alicia Moffet]]. The show was previously hosted by Jay Du Temple.

The sixth edition of ''Occupation Double'' premiered on September 27, 2009. For the first time, the entirety of the show took place in a foreign country, the [[Dominican Republic]].
