It was produced and directed by [[Ernst Lubitsch]] "with the assistance of" [[George Cukor]], and written by [[Samson Raphaelson]] from the play ''Only a Dream'' by Lothar Schmidt. It stars [[Maurice Chevalier]], [[Jeanette MacDonald]], [[Genevieve Tobin]], [[Charlie Ruggles]] and [[Roland Young]].
