They transformed and popularized [[Irish folk music]], touring and recording to great acclaim. Subsequently, [[Johnny Moynihan]], [[Paul Brady]], [[Matt Molloy]] (flute), [[Bill Whelan]] (keyboards), [[Nollaig Casey]] ([[fiddle]]) and briefly, [[Noel Hill (musician)|Noel Hill]] ([[concertina]]) and Tony Linnane (fiddle) were also temporary members.
