'''Ruby Dome''' is the highest [[mountain]] in both the [[Ruby Mountains]] and [[Elko County, Nevada|Elko County]], in [[Nevada]], United States. It is the twenty-seventh-highest mountain in the state,<ref>{{cite peakbagger |lid=21324 |name=Nevada 11,000-foot Peaks |accessdate=2014-10-22}}</ref> and also ranks as the thirteenth-most [[topographic prominence|topographically prominent]] peak in the state.<ref>{{cite peakbagger |lid=41313 |name=Nevada Peaks with 2000 feet of Prominence |accessdate=2014-10-23}}</ref>  The peak is located about {{convert|21|mi}} southeast of the city of [[Elko, Nevada|Elko]] within the Ruby Mountains Ranger District of the [[Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest]]. The mountain rises from a base elevation of about {{convert|6000|ft}} to a height of {{convert|11387|ft|m|0}}. It is the highest mountain for over 90 miles in all directions.<ref name="pb"/>
