'''Denis Sefton Delmer''' {{post-nominals|country=GBR|OBE}} (24 May 1904 – 4 September 1979) was a British [[journalist]] of Australian heritage and [[propagandist]] for the British government during the [[Second World War]]. 

Born in [[Berlin]] and fluent in [[German language|German]], he became friendly with [[Ernst Röhm]], who arranged for him to interview [[Adolf Hitler]] in 1931. As an announcer for the BBC German service in 1939, his provocative on-air reaction to Hitler's offer of peace caused the German authorities to add his name to the ''[[The Black Book (list)|Special Search List]]'' for arrest after they had invaded Britain. During the war, he led a [[black propaganda]] campaign against Hitler by radio from England.
