Many other cultures contain belief in a similar concept: notably, the [[Q'ero]] people of [[Peru]], the [[Hopi]] people of [[Arizona]], and the [[Kongo people|Bakongo people]] of [[Angola]] and [[Democratic Republic of the Congo]].
