A sequel, ''[[Zool 2]]'', was released in 1993. A remastered version of the original game, titled ''Zool Redimensioned'', was developed by [[Sumo Digital|Sumo Digital Academy]] and published by [[Sumo Group|Secret Mode]] for [[Windows]], [[PlayStation 4]] and [[Xbox One]] in August 2021.
