He grants him sovereignty over most of [[Africa (Roman province)|Africa]]. Genseric gives back [[Sicily]] and [[Mauretania]] ([[Algeria]] and [[Morocco]]). This marks the end of the Vandal [[Migration Period|migration]]s; they settle in [[North Africa]], with [[Carthage]] as their capital.
