==Early life and education== Aaron Temkin Beck was born in [[Providence, Rhode Island|Providence]], [[Rhode Island]], on July 18, 1921. At the time of Aaron's birth, the Temkin-Becks lived a "comfortable, lower-middle class lifestyle" and were in the process of putting down roots on [[East Side, Providence, Rhode Island|Providence's East Side]].
