Wilson was both a [[linebacker]] and [[running back]] at Jackson Central-Merry, rushing for 1,160 yards and 15 touchdowns in his senior season. He rushed for over 1,000 yards in three seasons in [[high school football|high school]], two as a running back and one as a [[quarterback]].
