==Etymology== The name ''Alexander'' originates from the {{Langx|grc|Ἀλέξανδρος}} ({{Lang|grc-Latn|Aléxandros}}; 'defending men'<ref>{{LSJ|a)le/candros|Ἀλέξανδρος|ref}}.</ref> or 'protector of men').
