==History==
The Allmendhubelbahn was brought into service in 1912, initially operating only in winter.<ref>{{Cite web |title=Mürren traditionell: Traditionen. In 1996, [[Jungfraubahn]] Railways wanted to decommission the funicular railway and replace it with a chairlift.
