== History == The name 'Arminghall' means 'Nook of land of Ambre's/Eanmaer's people'. The exact form of the personal name is uncertain.<ref>{{cite web | url=http://kepn.nottingham.ac.uk/map/place/Norfolk/Arminghall | title=Key to English Place-names }}</ref> Arminghall was recorded in the [[Domesday Book]] as ''Hameringahala''.<ref>{{cite web|url=http://www.domesdaybook.co.uk/norfolk1.html#arminghall|title=Norfolk A-C|publisher=The Domesday Book Online|accessdate=20 September 2022}}</ref> On 1 April 1935 the parish was abolished and merged with Bixley.<ref>{{cite web|url=https://visionofbritain.org.uk/unit/10096844|title=Relationships and changes Arminghall CP/AP through time|publisher=A Vision of Britain through Time|accessdate=20 September 2022}}</ref> In 2019 [[Bixley]] parish was abolished to form "Caistor St Edmund and Bixley".
