==Duties== Modern duties of a broadcast engineer include maintaining [[broadcast automation]] systems for the studio and [[automatic transmission system]]s for the transmitter [[physical plant|plant]]. There are also important duties regarding [[Radio masts and towers|radio tower]]s, which must be [[Preventive maintenance|maintain]]ed with proper [[lighting]] and [[painting]].
