==Early life== Rampling was born in 1946 in [[Sturmer, Essex]], the daughter of Isabel Anne (née Gurteen; 1918–2001), a painter, and [[Godfrey Rampling]] (1909–2009), an [[Olympic Games|Olympic]] gold medallist runner and British Army officer.<ref>“Births Mar 1946...
