U.S. magazine ''[[Motor Trend|MotorTrend]]'' in 2005 mentioned that the term "crossover" has become "blurred as manufacturers apply it to everything from the [[Chrysler Pacifica (crossover)|Chrysler Pacifica]] to the [[Ford Five Hundred]] sedan". Some regions outside North America do not have a distinction between a crossover SUV and body-on-frame SUV, calling both of them SUVs.
