It encompasses 29 contributing buildings, five contributing sites, four contributing structures, and three contributing objects in an exclusive residential enclave of Indianapolis. The district developed between about 1905 and 1950, and includes representative examples of [[Tudor Revival architecture|Tudor Revival]], [[Colonial Revival architecture|Colonial Revival]], [[Renaissance Revival architecture|Renaissance Revival]], and [[Art Deco architecture|Art Deco]] style architecture. Notable contributing resources include Vellameda (1904-1905), W.
