==Cause== Some conditions that present with elephantiasis include the following: * [[Elephantiasis nostras]], due to longstanding chronic [[lymphangitis]].{{Citation needed|date=June 2018}} * [[Elephantiasis tropica]] (known as lymphatic filariasis), caused by a number of parasitic worms, particularly ''[[Wuchereria bancrofti]]''.
