== Taxonomy == In his first description of 1804, [[Aylmer Bourke Lambert]] applied the [[Binomial nomenclature|binomial]] ''Bos frontalis'' to a domestic specimen probably from [[Chittagong]].<ref>{{cite book |last1=Ellerman |first1=J.
