==Early life==
Barron was born on 11 August 1847 to Elizabeth Pigeon, and Charles Barron of Denmark Hill in Surrey, England.<ref name="HarryBolton" /> He attended attended [[Stubbington House School]],<ref>{{cite web |title=BARRON, Maj.-Gen.
