Like the original ''[[Jet Set Radio]]'', players control a member of a gang of inline skaters, the GG's, in a futuristic Tokyo. The player must search for [[graffiti tags]] left by other gangs and spray over them with their own. To do this, they first collect spray cans in each [[Level (video games)|stage]].
