==Early life== Lang was born in [[Hollywood, California]],<ref name="about">{{cite web |url=http://www.lexlang.com/The_Official_Lex_Lang_Website/About.html |title=Lex Lang |website=www.lexlang.com |access-date=15 January 2022 |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20170822053110/http://www.lexlang.com/The_Official_Lex_Lang_Website/About.html |archive-date=22 August 2017 |url-status=dead}}</ref> and began performing at 7 years old, hosting a radio show and being the master of ceremonies for Seagram's National Comedy Competition.<ref name="about"/> Throughout high school, Lang acted in various theatre productions at the Community Theatre in [[Scottsdale, Arizona]].<ref name="about"/> His stage credits include ''[[The Fantastiks]]'', ''[[Bus Stop (William Inge play)|Bus Stop]]'', ''[[The Apple Tree]]'', ''[[Of Mice and Men]]'', and ''[[Cinderella (Rodgers and Hammerstein musical)|Cinderella]]''.<ref name="about"/> While attending college, he performed [[stand-up comedy]] and did impressions for various clubs including The Comedy Store, Dr. Giggles, The NFL Cub, Anderson's Fifth Estate and [[The Improv]].<ref name="about"/> He would perform along with [[Jim Carrey]], [[Richard Belzer]], and [[David Spade]].<ref name="about"/> He would later move back to Hollywood, California to study music at the [[Musician's Institute]] before pursuing voice acting in 1996.<ref name="about"/>
