== Names == Li Hongzhang was also known by other names. His [[courtesy name]]s were '''Zifu''' ({{lang|zh-hant|子黻}}) and '''Jianfu''' ({{lang|zh-hant|漸甫}}). His [[art name]]s were '''Shaoquan''' ({{lang|zh-hant|少荃}}), '''Yisou''' ({{lang|zh-hant|儀叟}}) and '''Shengxin''' ({{lang|zh-hant|省心}}). The [[posthumous name]] awarded to him by the Qing government was '''Wenzhong''' ({{lang|zh-hant|文忠}}). He was also referred to as '''Li Zhongtang''' ({{lang|zh-hant|李中堂}}) and '''Li Fuxiang''' ({{lang|zh-hant|李傅相}}); "Zhongtang" and "Fuxiang" referred to his honorary appointments as [[Grand Secretariat|Grand Secretary]] and [[Three Ducal Ministers|Crown Prince's Grand Tutor]] respectively.
