In its publication the ''[[Aeronautical Information Manual]]'' (''AIM''), the United States [[Federal Aviation Administration]] (FAA)  describes the  report as ''aviation routine weather report'',<ref name="AIM Chap7 Sec1">{{cite web |title=Chapter 7.
