==Biography== Moshe Sharett was born in [[Kherson]] in the [[Russian Empire]] (today in [[Ukraine]]) to the family of {{ill|Yaakov Chertok|he|ืืขืงื ืฉืจืชืืง}} and Fanya nรฉe Lev ({{lang|he|ืื}}). In 1906 the {{ill|Chertok family|he|ืืฉืคืืช ืฉืจืชืืง}} [[Aliyah|immigrated to Ottoman Palestine]]. He then went to [[Constantinople]] to study law at [[Istanbul University]], the same university at which [[Yitzhak Ben-Zvi]] and [[David Ben-Gurion]] studied. However, his time there was cut short due to the outbreak of [[World War I]].
