== Etymology == The English word nomad comes from the Middle French frm, from Latin la ("wandering shepherd"), from Ancient Greek grc (grc-Latn, "roaming, wandering, esp. to find pasture"), which is derived from the Ancient Greek grc (grc-Latn, "pasture").
