[[Hartley Peavey]] "dreamed of becoming a rock star," having built his first [[amplifier]] in 1957. Peavey Electronics once owned approximately {{convert|1500000|sqft|m2 acre}} of warehouse space across [[North America]], [[Europe]] and [[Asia]]. However, the vast majority of their products have been manufactured overseas since 2004.
