== Club career == [[File:Rob Rensenbrink 1969.jpg|thumb|Rob Rensenbrink in 1969]] Born 3 July 1947, in [[Amsterdam]], Rensenbrink started his career at [[AFC DWS|DWS]], an Amsterdam amateur club, before moving to Belgian side [[Club Brugge KV|Club Brugge]] in 1969. Between 1971 and 1980 he played for [[R.S.C. Anderlecht|Anderlecht]] where he enjoyed his greatest club successes. In total when in [[Belgium]] he twice won the [[Belgian Pro League|Belgian Championships]], the [[Belgian Cup]] five times and at European club level the [[UEFA Cup Winners' Cup|European Cup Winners' Cup]] twice (in [[1975β76 European Cup Winners' Cup|1976]] and [[1977β78 European Cup Winners' Cup|1978]], as well as being runner-up in [[1976β77 European Cup Winners' Cup|1977]]). Rensenbrink delivered a notable performance in the [[1976 European Cup Winners' Cup Final|1976 final]] as Anderlecht ran out 4β2 winners against [[West Ham United]]. In 1980, he left Anderlecht and wound down his career with a spell at [[Portland Timbers (NASL)|Portland Timbers]] in the [[North American Soccer League (1968β1984)|NASL]], followed by a brief stay with [[Toulouse FC|Toulouse]] in [[France]] in 1981.
